Urology 3D promotes robotic training at the third edition of the Saudi Urolithiasis Days Conference in Jeddah

Innovation in urological surgery requires more than just advanced technology: it requires precise, realistic training focused on clinical excellence. In this context, Urology 3D participated in the 3rd Saudi Urolithiasis Days Conference, held in Jeddah, actively contributing to the Robotic-Assisted Partial Nephrectomy (RAPN) course.

During the training programme, our hyper-realistic renal models were used in practical sessions alongside the da Vinci Surgical System, developed by Intuitive Surgical, and Hugo RAS, from Medtronic.

The integration of our models with these platforms allowed participants to train in a highly realistic environment, accurately replicating renal anatomy and the technical challenges associated with kidney-sparing surgery.

Advanced Training in Robotic Partial Nephrectomy

Robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) is a complex procedure that requires meticulous planning, precise bleeding control, and maximum preservation of renal function. The possibility of training on hyper-realistic anatomical models provides a differential value:

  • Faithful reproduction of renal anatomy.
  • Simulation of complex surgical scenarios.
  • Improvement of the learning curve in robotic surgery.
  • Practical training in a safe and structured environment.

At Urology 3D, we strive to ensure that surgical training is not merely technical, but truly transformative. Our goal is to bring real surgical experience into the training environment, raising the standards of education in robotic urology.

Science, technology and commitment to education

We would like to express our special thanks to Mohammed Abuzenada for his trust in Urology 3D and his steadfast commitment to advancing education in robotic urology.

This international collaboration reinforces our mission: to bring together science, technology and a passion for urology to create learning experiences that are more realistic, innovative and aligned with the needs of today’s clinical practice.

At Urology 3D, we continue to drive forward a new dimension in surgical training, where advanced simulation becomes a strategic tool for improving outcomes, optimising skills and, ultimately, benefiting patients.
