On 31 October 2025, Urology 3D participated in the Second Course on Endoscopic Laser Enucleation of the Prostate, held in Porto (Portugal), a leading training event focused on perfecting the technique of laser prostate enucleation for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Advanced training with 3D simulation: ProstaSim as a key tool
During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to train with ProstaSim, the 3D simulator developed by Urology 3D, specifically designed to reproduce with high fidelity the surgical steps of endoscopic prostate enucleation.
The integration of the simulator into the teaching programme enabled urologists to:
- Practise in a safe and controlled environment.
- Strengthen three-dimensional anatomical understanding.
- Optimise instrumental coordination and technical precision.
- Prepare beforehand for the live surgeries included in the course.
This training model, which combines advanced simulation, live surgery and expert supervision, represents an evolution in modern surgical teaching, aligned with international standards of excellence.
