Urology 3D at the 37th Congress of the Andalusian Association of Urology: training, innovation and surgical simulation

In October 2025, the Urology 3D team participated in the 37th Congress of the Andalusian Association of Urology (AAU) and the 29th Residents’ Course, held in the city of Córdoba. This scientific event, a benchmark for the urological community in southern Spain, brought together professionals, researchers and residents with the aim of sharing advances, clinical experiences and training opportunities in an environment of academic excellence.

Over three intensive days, specialists in the field of urology addressed current clinical and surgical issues, from developments in the management of complex pathologies to emerging therapeutic techniques, thereby expanding collective knowledge within the discipline. The congress also included the Residents’ Course, designed to strengthen the training of future urologists through practical sessions, debates and interactive workshops.

Commitment to training and technology

Urology 3D’s presence at this scientific forum underscored its commitment to high-level training and technological innovation applied to surgical education. In this context, it was highlighted how Urology 3D’s simulation solutions can complement traditional training, providing tools that replicate real clinical situations in a safe and controlled environment.

Surgical simulation, especially when integrated with advanced technologies such as 3D anatomical modelling and specific training platforms, is establishing itself as an essential complement to the training of residents and specialists — reducing learning curves and promoting safer practices in the operating theatre.

An Event that Promotes the Speciality

The AAU Congress and Resident Course provide an ideal platform for knowledge exchange between generations of urologists. In addition to presentations and scientific sessions, these meetings promote professional networking and multidisciplinary collaboration, thereby strengthening the urological community in Spain and raising training standards in the specialty.

Urology 3D’s contribution to events such as this reinforces its active role in advanced simulation-based urological training, promoting tools that integrate precision, realism and accessibility for professionals in training.
